Thomas Raggi Announces Debut Solo Album ‘Masquerade‘ with Tom Morello

Following Funny Little Fears by Damiano David, the two mixes, and the Victoria’s Hotter Summer Tour by Victoria De Angelis, the declaration of the third solo project for a Måneskin member: Masquerade by Thomas Raggi. As announced on his Instagram profile, the project will be released on December 5th, and features production by Tom Morello. The relationship between the two musicians is well established, with Raggi participating in several charity campaigns with the Rage Against The Machine guitarist, who previously collaborated with the band on Gossip.The collaboration extends to Nic Cester of Jet and Chad Smith of the red Hot Chili Peppers, who appear on the track “Getcha.”

Raggi explained today that the album stems from his artistic need, from the desire to tell his story and his vision of music. Regarding his relationship with Morello, he said: “Over the last year, my relationship with Tom has solidified. We had the opportunity to play together frequently, and he included me in some of his festivals and concerts. It was natural for me to involve him in my project and ask him to produce it and help me structure it. working on this project with him was wonderful, but what happened next exceeded my expectations.” Raggi also referenced Måneskin, stating that bringing together so many music icons “reminded me that music has no boundaries; that you have to follow your instincts and inspiration, ignore imposed rules, and simply do what you feel. My history with them teaches me this, but now I have definitive confirmation. I feel as if those who have made music history are placing a hand on my shoulder, telling me ‘Your on the right path.'”
