The Utah State University (USU) men’s tennis team showcased strong performances at the Jackrabbit Invitational, with several Aggies securing victories and advancing to later rounds. Leading the charge was senior Roko Venger, alongside qualifying wins from sophomore Dmitri Goubin and freshman Emmanuel Alex.
Venger Leads Aggies to Quarterfinals

Qualifying Round Success
Sophomore Dmitri Goubin and freshman Emmanuel alex both battled thru the qualifying rounds to earn spots in the main draw. Goubin had a decisive win against Alexander Edmonston from BYU, winning 6-3, 6-0. alex faced a tougher challenge, ultimately prevailing over UC Irvine’s Nathaniel Suh with a score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.
Adding to USU’s success, sophomore Eliot Nobel secured a 6-4, 7-5 win over BYU’s Hardy Owen in extra matches.
