Legendary singer Michael Bolton has given fans a heartwarming update this Christmas, sharing a precious photo of himself with his loved ones shortly after announcing his successful brain tumor surgery earlier this year.

The 71-year-old singer revealed in January that he had undergone surgery for a brain tumor after the diagnosis “just before the holidays” in 2023. Since then, Bolton has been largely absent from the public eye, focusing on his recovery.

Contrsting his initial post-surgery privacy, Bolton took to Facebook on Christmas Day to share a heartwarming image. He was seated on a couch, surrounded by four family members all clad in comfortable pajamas. Bolton himself sported grey sweatpants and a black hoodie, topped with a playful Santa hat as he beamed at the camera.

“Sending warm wishes for a holiday season filled with peace love and joy. May the New Year bring health, and countless moments to cherish. Here’s to fresh starts and beautiful moments in 2025,” he wrote.

Bolton’s update comes after he postponed some shows in October, explaining that he wasn’t quite 100% back to his performing best. “I only want to give my very best so please bear with me as I continue my road to recovery,” he said, reassuring fans that he was “making good progress” on exciting new projects.
