Miguel Uribe Turbay’s Bogotá Breakthrough

Miguel Uribe Turbay, presidential candidate and Colombian senator who died on August 11, was buried in the central pantheon of Bogotá after a massive tribute in the National Capitol and a Mass in the Primada Cathedral. Family and friends attended the funeral, including his father, Miguel Uribe Londoño, and his widow, Claudia Tarazona, who spoke an emotional speech at the exequial mass in which she affirmed that the death of her husband “cannot remain in vain.”
