Public Health Mobile Units Offer Convenient Immunizations and Testing Across Nova Scotia

As of January 7, 2026, Nova Scotia’s Public Health Mobile Units (PHMU) are providing accessible immunization and testing services throughout the province. these mobile clinics aim to increase access to vital healthcare services for communities across Nova Scotia. Available Services

The Public Health Mobile Units are offering a range of services to eligible individuals, including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine (6 months+)
  • Standard influenza vaccine (6 months+)
  • Seniors’ influenza vaccine (65+)
  • Adult RSV vaccine (75+)
  • Pneumococcal vaccine (65+)
  • Shingles vaccine (65+)
  • COVID-19 and Influenza tests (eligibility varies, see www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting)

Appointments are recommended but limited drop-ins are available for most vaccines and tests. pneumococcal and Shingles vaccines are available on a drop-in basis only.

  • Vaccines are available for individuals aged 6 months and older who meet eligibility requirements.
  • All vaccines and testing are provided free of charge to those who are eligible.
  • Please bring your health card,if you have one.
  • Dress warmly, as you might potentially be required to wait in line outdoors.
  • Clinics are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
  • Masks are available at all Public Health Mobile Unit clinics and are required for individuals experiencing symptoms.
