ICTSGEM in Morelos Provides Over 1.6 Billion Pesos in Loans to Workers in 2025

The Credit Institute for Workers in the Service of the Government of the State of Morelos (ICTSGEM) disbursed over 1.6 billion pesos in loans to its members throughout 2025, benefiting over 8,600 workers and retirees. This initiative underscores the state government’s commitment to financial inclusion and social welfare.

Loan Distribution in 2025

According to Enrique Iragorri Durán, the general director of ICTSGEM, more than 32,000 loans were granted, categorized as short, medium, and long-term. Iragorri Durán highlighted the diverse range of loan products utilized by members.

Loan Types and Beneficiaries

The loans provided included unsecured loans, basic special loans, complementary special loans, and the “Rosa” loan program specifically designed for women. These funds were used for various purposes, including covering expenses related to back-to-school needs, Christmas celebrations, vehicle purchases, and acquiring land or housing. These loans directly benefit affiliated women and their families.

Government Commitment to Equality

The state government, under the leadership of Governor Margarita González Saravia, views these actions as a reinforcement of its commitment to promoting equality and social justice. The goal is to ensure that ICTSGEM affiliates have the necessary resources for their full development and active participation in the state’s economy.

Leadership at ICTSGEM

Enrique Iragorri Durán was ratified as the director general of ICTSGEM in early 2025, having previously held the position in 2000 and 2010. He brings a background as a Public Accountant from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM) and experience as a former federal deputy to the role.
