European hotel chain Motel One has completed a rapid digital transformation, migrating its entire portfolio of over 100 properties across 13 countries to the Oracle OPERA Cloud property management system (PMS). The move aims to enhance operational efficiency, support international growth, and elevate guest experiences.
Rapid Implementation Across Europe and the US
The migration, completed in just four months, encompassed all Motel One properties in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. The implementation averaged 14 active proceed-lives per week, successfully transferring all operational and financial records, including guest and ledger balances, as well as room and housekeeping status [Oracle News].
