Motorola Launches New Moto G100 (2025) in China
Motorola released the Moto G100 (2025) in China, succeeding the model last available in 2021. This smartphone features a significantly increased 7,000 mAh battery, a new leather-textured design, a 6.72-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, adn IP64 water and dust resistance.
The Moto G100 is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It boasts a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP front camera, and runs on Android 15. The base 8/128 GB variant sells for 1,399 yuan (approximately Rp. 3.2 million).
Motorola previously used the moto G100 name in 2021. Now, after four years, Motorola updated the device while retaining the same name.
The latest Moto G100 offers several improvements over the 2021 model, most notably in battery capacity. The 2025 Moto G100 features a large 7,000 mAh battery, a substantial increase from the 2021 model’s 5,000 mAh battery.
The design also differs from its predecessor. The 2021 Moto G100 featured a cross-section with a gradation effect when exposed to light.
