Nabilah O’Brien No Longer a Suspect in Defamation Case After Reconciliation with Zendhy Kusuma
Jakarta, Indonesia – Social media celebrity Nabilah O’Brien is no longer considered a suspect in a defamation case following a reconciliation with guitarist Zendhy Kusuma. The agreement was reached during mediation at the National Police Headquarters on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Peace Agreement Reached
“I forgive everyone, I am no longer just a suspect,” Nabilah stated after the mediation session according to reports. Both parties have withdrawn their police reports against each other.
Zendhy Kusuma expressed full forgiveness, stating, “Yes. I forgive 100 percent,” as he left the National Police Headquarters as reported on Instagram.
Police Confirm Withdrawal of Reports
Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Division, confirmed that a peace agreement was signed by all parties involved, including Zendhy Kusuma, his wife Evi Santi, Nabilah O’Brien and another individual identified only as KDH.
“Sister Z and sister ES’s wife, as well as sister NA and KDH, these four parties were likewise present, then entered into a peace agreement,” Trunoyudo said as reported by YouTube. “Each of them has withdrawn the report from each of the complainants.”
Social Media Content Removal
The mediation process followed an analysis of two reports submitted by each party to the Mampang Police and the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. As part of the agreement, all parties have agreed to delete any offensive content posted on social media.
“So of course, in the process of the mediation minutes, then the retraction, and before us, everyone deleted their respective social media, which is indeed an agreement in this peace,” Trunoyudo added.
Background of the Case
Nabilah was initially named a suspect on February 28, 2026, by the Cyber Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, facing allegations of violating the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) related to defamation and slander as reported on YouTube.
The dispute originated from an incident on September 19, 2025, at the Aunt Bunny restaurant in Kemang, South Jakarta, where Zendhy and his wife reportedly left without paying a bill of IDR 530,150. Zendhy subsequently reported Nabilah to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
In response, Nabilah filed a report with the Mampang Prapatan Police against Zendhy and his wife on February 24, 2026.
Authorities hope the peace agreement will foster a sense of justice and provide an opportunity for reflection, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
