A man in his 20s has died and a teenage boy is fighting for his life following a stabbing at a skate park in Northampton, England. Police have launched a murder investigation and have arrested four individuals in connection with the incident.

Emergency services were called to the skate park in Ringway, Briar Hill, Northampton, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found two individuals with stab wounds after an altercation.

Despite the efforts of emergency responders and members of the public, the man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. The teenage boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition as of Friday, February 20, 2026.

Arrests Made

Northamptonshire Police has arrested four people – two teenage boys, a man, and a woman – all from Northampton, in connection with the stabbing. All four remain in police custody.
