Olivia Dean’s Chanel Moment: From Grammy Win to Paris Fashion Week
Olivia Dean is solidifying her status as a fashion icon alongside her rising musical success. The British singer, fresh off a Grammy win for Best New Artist, showcased a stunning Chanel ensemble at the house’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear show in Paris, continuing a relationship with the luxury brand that has blossomed over the past few years.
A Textural Triumph on the Paris Runway
Dean arrived at the Grand Palais wearing Appear 67 from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2026 collection. The outfit featured a densely patterned tweed jacket paired with a long, cream-colored skirt. The skirt incorporated fringe, sheer insets and feathery textured panels, creating a visually rich and tactile combination Marie Claire.
The fitted bouclé-style tweed jacket was adorned with a mottled black, ivory, and yellow pattern, accented by jewel-like round buttons with tactile embellishments. A broad collar, turned cuffs, and a dark burgundy shoulder bag with a beaded strap completed the look. The skirt featured cream satin-backed panels interspersed with vertical bands of looped fringe and narrow, creamsicle-hued panels, finished with a dense fringe hem.
Chanel’s Signature Style
Dean finished the ensemble with Chanel’s classic cap-toe slingback pumps in beige and black Red Carpet Fashion Awards. The outfit originated from the Métiers d’Art collection, which Matthieu Blazy debuted in December on an abandoned Bowery subway platform in New York. Blazy described the collection as “extremely character-driven,” inspired by figures from the 1970s and 1980s.
A Growing Partnership
Dean’s connection with Chanel began at the house’s Spring 2023 haute couture show and was formalized in June 2024 when Chanel listed her as an ambassador and friend of the house. She previously wore a custom Chanel dress to accept the Best New Artist award at the 2026 Grammy Awards ELLE and Cosmopolitan.
Beyond Chanel, Dean is expanding her portfolio of brand partnerships. She was named the face of Burberry Her Parfum in January and a global brand partner for Hourglass on March 8.
Continued Success for the Rising Star
Dean’s fashion moment arrives alongside continued success in her music career. Her sophomore album, “The Art of Loving,” has achieved record-setting chart performance for a British female artist.
