Overwatch 2 Season 19: haunted Masquerade Brings Spooky Fun and New updates
Overwatch 2 is gearing up for its Season 19, embracing the classic halloween theme under the name Haunted Masquerade.
This new season promises a wide variety of content, including limited-time game modes, new features for the popular stadium Mode, new mythical skins, and a trial period for the next hero.
Haunted Masquerade Combines Abilities Between Heroes Through Masks
At the heart of Season 19 is The Haunted Masquerade, a unique mode where teams can wear the masks of other heroes, gaining access to their abilities. for example, players can control Juno and equip Mei’s mask to utilize her powers, or Winston’s mask to benefit from his jump and barrier.
Furthermore, certain skins will offer special benefits when combined with heroes connected through the game’s lore, such as Reinhardt and Brigitte’s synchronized shields.
Following Halloween tradition, Junkenstein will return with its classic team mode, challenging players to defend the castle.

Wrath of the Bride will also be back, featuring a battle against Sombra alongside heroes like Sojourn, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Ashe.
Both the Haunted Masquerade, Junkenstein’s Revenge, and Wrath of the Bride will be available from October 14 until November 3.
Stadium Mode is Renewed with Heroes, Map and Gadget System
Stadium mode will also receive significant updates, including new heroes, a Control map, and improvements to the armory.
The new heroes joining the competition are Torbjörn, Tracer, and Sojourn, while the new combat zone will be Busan Shrine, visually adapted for the Stadium surroundings.
The Armory is being updated with additional filters and subtabs to streamline the creation of more customized builds.
