Padres Respond to Shildt’s Challenge with Offensive Outburst
DENVER — following the Padres’ shutout loss to the Rockies at Coors Field on Friday night, manager Mike Shildt expressed confidence in his club’s ability to rebound.
Though,he emphasized that “actions are going to have to speak louder than words.”
“That was more how we play baseball,” Shildt said. “We can discuss past successes, but we must prove it.”
