Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero has been diagnosed with a torn right oblique, according to President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman. Banchero sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Orlando’s game against the Chicago Bulls on October 30th.
Banchero underwent further testing in Cleveland, confirming the severity of the injury. He will be sidelined indefinitely, with his return dependent on his response to treatment. The Magic expect to re-evaluate Banchero in four to six weeks.
