Russian missiles complicate the work of Patriot
According to US intelligence, in recent months, Russia has activated the use of ballistic missiles with improved maneuverability. This has led to the fact that the Patriot systems, which Ukraine relies on protection against ballistics, have become less effective.
Ukraine has five Patriot batteries: three from the United States, one from Romania and one from the joint supply of Germany and the Netherlands. Also Ukrainian forces received additional interceptors, but experts note that even with them systems can not always cope with new Russian missiles.

US intelligence does not specify which types of missiles create the greatest difficulties, but emphasizes that improvements make it difficult to predict the trajectory and interception.
