Percy Jackson Season 2 Adds More Star Power with Rosemarie DeWitt, Aleks Paunovic, and More
Get ready, fans! Season two of the hit Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is adding more exciting faces to its cast. Two notable guest stars, Rosemarie DeWitt and Aleks Paunovic, have joined the cast, along with recurring roles for Beatrice Kitsos and Kevin Chacon.
Rosemarie DeWitt, known for her work in “The Boys” and “Mad Men,” will portray C.C., a mysterious New Age guru who crosses paths with Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) during their quest for the Golden Fleece. Aleks Paunovic, recognized for roles in “Snowpiercer” and “Van Helsing,” will embody the cyclops Polyphemus, a formidable figure guarding the Golden Fleece.
Familiar Faces and Fresh Additions
Beatrice Kitsos (“iZombie”) and Kevin Chacon (“Jessica Jones”) join the cast in recurring roles. Kitsos will take on the role of Alison Simms, an original creation for the series, who aligns herself with Luke’s (Charlie Bushnell) cause. Chacon reprises the role of Chris Rodriguez, another son of Hermes, previously played by Andrew Alvarez in season one.
These newcomers join a stellar ensemble including Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Tamara Smart as Thalia, Andra Day as Athena, and Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, and Kristen Schaal as the Gray Sisters. Courtney B. Vance takes on the mantle of Zeus, stepping into the role previously played by the late Lance Reddick. The core cast of Scobell, Jeffries, Bushnell, Aryan Simhadri, and Dior Goodjohn will all return for season two.
