Pinneberg Fire Brigade Adds Three New Vehicles to Fleet, Honors Local Business

The Pinneberg fire brigade officially put three new emergency vehicles into service on Friday evening: a device car logistics, a device car hygiene, and a modern operating control car. The acquisition marks the completion of the current phase of the fire brigade’s vehicle procurement plan.

Fire Chief Köster expressed gratitude to the political committees,governance,and relevant groups for providing the necessary funding,emphasizing that purchases are made based on necessity,not just possibility. He specifically acknowledged the work of jens Schäfer, Dominik Dreyer, and Yann Kuhlmann on the “Operating Mail Car” project.

Köster highlighted the increasing number of operations and the strong collaborative relationships with neighboring fire brigades and other emergency services. He also stressed the vital role of employers who support the volunteer fire brigade, leading to a special recognition of HOEDTKE GmbH & Co. KG as a “partner of the fire brigade.”

District Fire Chief Stefan Mohr, in the presence of Mayor Thomas Voerste, honored Hoedtke for their longstanding commitment to the fire service. The company was recognized for consistently releasing employees from various fire brigades in the Pinneberg and Steinburg districts for training, courses, and emergency operations.

The device car hygiene is styled after RKish ambulances, showcasing a commitment to modern equipment and best practices.

Recognition of Outgoing and Incoming Equipment Stores

During the event, thanks where extended to the two outgoing equipment store managers for their service. Two new individuals were then presented as the incoming equipment store managers, signifying a continuation of essential logistical support for the fire department.

The Kummerfeld fire department played a crucial role in ensuring fire protection during the event. they also managed the bar service, providing refreshments for guests. Attendees enjoyed a conventional North German specialty – fish rolls – alongside offerings from a local food truck.
