Documentary “School of Life” to Screen in Ferrara, Highlighting Education in Crisis Zones
Ferrara, Italy – January 14, 2026 – The documentary film “School of Life,” directed by Giuseppe Marco Albano and produced by Groenlandia and rai Cinema, will be screened at the Santo Spirito cinema (via della Resistenza 7, Ferrara) on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 9:00 PM.
The screening is organized by the “Tutori nel Tempo” association as part of the broader event, #primaleggopoiparlo3.
“School of Life” follows nicolò Govoni and the work of the Still I Rise organization, an autonomous humanitarian group dedicated to providing quality education to refugee and vulnerable children globally. The film emphasizes the transformative power of education in challenging circumstances, showcasing how innovative educational approaches can offer a path towards a brighter future for children in marginalized communities.
According to the Still I Rise website (https://www.stillirisengo.org/), the organization currently operates educational programs in Lebanon, Uganda, Syria, and Italy, focusing on holistic growth and empowering children through learning. The documentary highlights the stories of children impacted by conflict, displacement, and poverty, demonstrating the resilience and potential within these communities.
“We beleive education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” Nelson Mandela famously said, a quote often associated with Still I rise’s mission. The film aims to embody this sentiment, offering a poignant and intimate look at the organization’s efforts to restore hope and opportunity through education.
The “Tutori nel Tempo” association encourages attendance to support this critically important cause. Further facts about the event can be found on the Cronaca Comune website (https://www.cronacacomune.it/2026/01/14/scuola-di-vita-al-cinema-santo-spirito-il-21-gennaio/).
