Revolver Launches studio:Revolver to Meet Demand for Agile Social Content

Australian production company Revolver has launched studio:Revolver, a new production model designed to specialize in agile productions for social and vertical content, stills and end-to-end projects. The launch reflects a growing industry need for high-quality content creation with limited resources and rapid turnaround times.

Addressing the Need for Speed and Efficiency

According to Director Steve Rogers, Revolver recognized the need for a more flexible approach to social media content creation. “We’ve been looking at different ways for us to be able to craft high-quality social work with limited resources for quite a while now,” Rogers stated.1

studio:Revolver focuses on lightweight production, led by Director/DOP Ollie Ritchie and producer Lizzie Dingle. Ritchie emphasized the opportunity to rethink the production process, stating, “The obvious trick is knowing how to do more with less, but there’s a nuance to keeping things efficient while retaining craft. By combining high-quality, lightweight production with actual data you gain pretty close to a perfect social production model.”1

Producer Lizzie Dingle added that the studio is “built for the realities of modern content: scalable, agile, and designed to move at the pace of culture.” 1

Integration with Existing Revolver Productions

studio:Revolver can operate on a project basis or be integrated as an optional addition to any existing Revolver production, leveraging the established production ecosystem and expertise of the Palme d’Or winning company.1
