Roos Moggré’s debut as a stand-in presenter for Pauw & De Wit is severely criticized by Victor Vlam. The TV critic thinks she is very bad in the place of Jeroen Pauw and Tim de Wit. “Weak.”

TV critic Victor Vlam already approached it with some skepticism: he said in his podcast last weekend that he once had an unpleasant experience with Roos Moggré during recordings. Her debut as a stand-in presenter for Pauw & De Wit did not convince him last night. He thought she was bad at that talk show table. Very bad.

Weak, weak, weak

Victor is not impressed. “Roos Moggré’s debut can be summarized in three words: weak, weak, weak. I hope it was the nerves for the 1st time, but Roos lacked dominance. She looked at her papers a lot. She was sometimes invisible for a long time. And she did not radiate any pleasure.”

He continues X: “The most telling moment came when she had to forcefully call Halbe Zijlstra to order in the discussion with that lawyer. In fact, she had already been walked over many times, so she felt that she had to assert herself.”

Lack of dominance

A certain Chris jumps into the breach for Roos. “Let’s be honest, for the first time she was just there. Calm, sharp, good tone. Skepticism is allowed, but this was simply good.”

Victor: “No, this is what a lack of dominance looks like.”

Chris: “I really see this in a more nuanced way. Of course she looks at her papers every now and then and is sometimes a bit absent, but come on, it was her first time. Then ‘lack of dominance’ is a very easy conclusion. I’ll give her a chance.”

Tina is enthusiastic

TV authority Tina Nijkamp is enthusiastic about Roos. “What I like so much about Pauw & De Wit (and now Moggré) is the choice to be serious. No chatter,” she says on Instagram.

“An agreement has been made with the viewer. No doubt. Really so good compared to Bar Laat. Excellent first broadcast for Roos.”
