RTÉ Invests €100,000 in Leadership and Management Development Programme
Ireland’s national broadcaster, RTÉ, has announced plans for a comprehensive Leadership and Management Development Programme for its staff, with an estimated cost of €100,000 over the 12-month contract period. The programme aims to equip RTÉ managers with essential skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

The programme will cover a wide range of topics, including:

RTÉ emphasizes the interactive nature of the programme, incorporating active group exercises, workshops, and scenarios to ensure practical application and engagement.

Beyond the Leadership and Management Development Programme, RTÉ offers a diverse range of training opportunities for all staff members. These include:

Programme Structure and Timeline
The Leadership and Management Development Programme will be staged in 10 two-day blocks throughout April and October 2025. RTÉ has indicated the possibility of adapting the programme for smaller groups in the future.
The tender process for the programme is currently underway, with a closing date of January 10, 2024. The contract is expected to be awarded on February 3, 2025.
