Russia too Strengthen Nuclear Arsenal

Russia needs to strengthen its nuclear weapons because of major threats to the country,according to Alexey Lihachov,the head of Rosatom,Russia’s state nuclear energy corporation. Reuters reported his comments.

“Right now, the world situation is very perilous for our country. That’s why our nuclear weapons – which can also be used to attack – are vital for protecting our independence,” Lihachov said. He added that Russia should improve its nuclear weapons in the next few years.
