The acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has tested negative for Covid-19 and will resume his public agenda this Friday in a presentation on a strategic proposal framed in the Spanish Presidency of the EU, as reported by Government sources.
Specifically, Sánchez will present this Friday at 11:30 a.m. the strategic proposal of the Spanish Presidency of the EU to strengthen the economic security and global leadership of the EU in this decade at the ResilientEU2030 Forum, which will be held at the CEOE headquarters. .
Sánchez tested positive for coronavirus last Thursday in the mandatory test for attendance at the summit of the G-20 and, consequently, he was unable to travel to the Indian city of New Delhi on September 9 and 10.
After the absence of the Head of the Executive, it was the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, who represented Spain at said summit.
