Saoirse Ronan Opens Up About Finding Love and Happiness After Marrying Jack Lowden
Academy Award-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan has rarely spoken about her personal life, but in a recent interview with USA Today, she opened up about her newfound happiness after secretly marrying actor Jack Lowden.
“I feel like I’m part of a group, which I never thought I would have,” Ronan shared. “I used to think, ‘You’ll never have friends. You’ll never have a partner.’ I was so in my own world, in a lot of ways. So now, to feel like I’ve got a very rich personal and social life — it’s so precious to me.”
Ronan and Lowden first met on the set of the 2018 film Mary Queen of Scots. Rumors of an engagement swirled in October after Ronan was spotted wearing a ring in Paris. People magazine later confirmed that the couple had tied the knot in a ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland.
