Spanish defender Sergio Reguilón,who played alongside Son Heung-min during his time at Tottenham Hotspur,is expected to join the American Major League Soccer (MLS) like Son Heung-min. his destination is Inter Miami, where Lionel Messi currently plays.
The British media outlet, the London Evening Standard, quoted transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, stating that Reguilón, recently a free agent, is in negotiations with inter Miami and is expected to agree to a contract soon. While Reguilón didn’t secure a new team before the end of the August transfer window,reports indicate that an official announcement is imminent as negotiations with Inter Miami have progressed rapidly.
Reguilón parted ways with Tottenham Hotspur after the 2024-2025 season, making only six official appearances with just two starts. He was largely a rotation player.
