The last full day of primavera -summer will arrive this Wednesday at 4:58 p.m.- will be conditioned by warnings for rain and storms in seven autonomous communities, and by intense heat in Mallorca.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), collected by Servimedia, indicates that there is a yellow warning -risk for outdoor activities- due to heavy rainfall in Aragon, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, La Rioja, Navarra and the Basque Country.
Specifically, this warning refers to storms and heavy rains of at least 15 or 20 liters per square meter, especially after noon, in the provinces of Burgos (north and Cantabrian Mountains), Guipúzcoa, Huesca (Pyrenees), The Rioja (bank of the Ebro), Navarra (center and Pyrenees), Palencia (plateau and Cantabrian Mountains), Valladolid, Zaragoza (Five Villas), Albacete, Cuenca and south of cantabria.
And the yellow warning for maximum temperatures affects the interior of Mallorca, where thermometers are expected to reach 36 degrees in the central hours of the day. On that island, the first warning for heat in June in Spain was activated on Monday.
On the other hand, this Tuesday will be a day unstable in the northern half and interiors of the eastern third of the peninsula, with a predominance of cloudy skies or with intervals of medium and high clouds. Scattered showers and storms are expected from the early hours in the north and northwest of the peninsula, which will intensify and generalize in the afternoon, except in Galicia, where they will continue to be scattered and less intense.
