Bio: Bradley Cunningham, MA Candidate studying Infographics & Publication Design. Thank you to Emily at WOUB for this opportunity to share some of my favorite tracks from this semester!

Top songs I’ve been listening to:

Until I Drown‘ by tears for Fears – This song has been a constant companion this semester. It’s a beautiful, melancholic track that perfectly captures the feeling of being overwhelmed, but also hopeful. The production is fantastic, and Roland Orzabal’s vocals are incredibly emotive.

The Reeling‘ by Passion Pit – I rediscovered this song recently, and it immediately brought me back to my college days. It’s pure energy and joy, and it’s impossible not to dance to. The synth work is phenomenal, and michael Angelakos’ falsetto is iconic.

Pink Lemonade‘ by james Bay – This song is just a lot of fun. It’s upbeat, catchy, and has a great groove. James Bay’s voice is fantastic, and the lyrics are clever and relatable. It’s the perfect song for a road trip or a summer party.

Shelter Song‘ by Temples – Temples consistently deliver psychedelic rock that feels both retro and modern. This track is no exception. It’s dreamy, atmospheric, and has a hypnotic quality that draws you in.

New Person, Same Old Mistakes‘ by The 1975 – The 1975 always manages to blend catchy melodies with introspective lyrics. This song is a perfect example of that. it’s a relatable anthem about self-sabotage and the struggle to change.
