‘I Like Shiny things, But i’d Marry You In paper Rings’: “I like luminous things, but I would marry you wiht paper rings.” It was the year 2019 and Taylor Swift practically begged her then partner, British actor Joe Alwyn to commit themselves at once.That wish ended up not being fulfilled but, almost six years later, the billionaire singer looks like a lustrous ring of commitment to her current fiance, American footballer Travis Kelce.

The couple, formed just two years ago according to tabloids and ‘swifties’, officially confirmed their engagement last night on Instagram, publishing a photo carousel of the pop superstar and the kansas City player, both 35 years old. One of the photos showed the ring chosen by Kelce, which was not paper. According to the American press, Kelce worked with Kindred Lubeck, by Artifex Fine Jewelry, to design the jewel, a round diamond embedded in a gold ring.

The publication was entitled: “Your English teacher and gymnastics are going to marry”,although the average salary of a high school teacher does not reach the wealth of the new spouses. According to ‘Forbes’,the combined fortune of both reaches the 1,437 million euros, although Swift has 95.8% of the total assets.

In May, the billionaire born in Pennsylvania and raised in Nashville’s musical mecca confirmed that she had recovered the ‘masters’ of her first six works -originally published with Big Machine Records– from its most recent owner, the venture capital company Shamrock Capital.
