Youn Yuh-jung Champions ‘wedding Reception’ – A Film Celebrating Same-Sex Marriage

Director Andrew Ahn’s film, Wedding Reception, is generating meaningful buzz even before its wider release, notably due to its heartwarming portrayal of two same-sex couples and their marriages.

The film has garnered attention thanks to the support of Youn Yuh-jung, the acclaimed actress celebrated globally for her groundbreaking achievements. She is the first Korean to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, as well as the first asian actress to receive the Screen Actors Guild Award and a British Academy Award in the same category.
