The first weekend of December is expected to be stable but coldwith freezing nights and minimum temperatures below 6 degrees or even more, before giving way to a few days marked by the arrival of squalls that will leave rain in the west of the peninsula and a more temperate environment, with high values for the time.

This Saturday dawned with frost in large areas of the north and east of the peninsula, while at noon in the interior the maximum temperatures will be around 10-12 degrees and will only exceed 15 degrees on the banks of the Mediterranean and in Western Andalusia.

Today a “cold winter atmosphere” is expected, although with generally slightly cloudy skies, except in the extreme north, where there will be light snowfall at a snow level in the Pyrenees somewhat low, around 600-800 meters.

On Sunday there will be a new drop in night temperatures, so the frosts will be “more extensive and intense” than the previous day: “On the two plateaus it will drop to 2 or 4 degrees below zero, in the moors of the central zone up to “4 or 6 degrees below zero and in areas of the Pyrenees even below 6 degrees below zero.”

However, during the day the values will be a little higher than on Saturday, but they will still range between 10 and 15 degrees in most of the territory, while the arrival of a new front will leave rain in Galicia, Asturias and west of Castile and León.
