When you say Marika Šoposká, the viewers will be equipped with a popular actress known from many fairy tales and television series and also from theatre. She looks casual and natural on social networks – just like in a personal conversation, when she talked not only about her favorite cosmetics, but also why men should get better for the role of fathers and how they managed extreme weight loss during the dance show.

When I looked at your Instagram, I was eager about your “juicy skin” instructions. do you like to take care of yourself and run for cosmetic news?

So I was 35, you just have to take care of the face. So I have a routine foster – and I admit,I’m dependent on it. I love it. But do not imagine a ceremony again. It takes about ten minutes with all this – even with teeth cleaning.I like cosmetics and always makes me happy some cream, oil or some other “grease”.

And is ther anything you can’t do without?

I have my favorite Korean cosmetics, I have been faithful for two years. I generally enjoy Korean brands a lot. And quite often in the morning they save me such smoothing stickers under the eyes. Then I have my tonic, serum, cream, protective cream with UV filter …I could say that it is indeed my “must-have”.

My mom always said: To swing yeah, to overwhelm no. I think I respect my children a lot, but that does not mean tha

When we stay with social networks, what are they for you? Someone is a necessary evil.

I only use Instagram. I don’t have other social networks, nor do I plan it.I take it mainly as a source of inspiration. And I don’t mean just cosmetics, fashion and nice food, it’s more of a rest bonus, but mainly politics, ecology, world events. Today it is the main channel for me that all the current news gets to me. I think I like Instagram because I’m not his slave. They don’t feed me. I present my job there, sometimes some of my privacy, sometimes I take nice cooperation. Not as I have to, but because I enjoy it. I definitely do not want to live in a world where my value determines some number with the number of followers.

So who wouldn’t want to boast of his cute baby, right? I fully understand it. Despite the fact that motherhood is a great marketing tool. And as long as the child fails to comment on it,the idea of his disagreement is quite abstract. My older son is ten. He hates when I take pictures, and he defines myself enough to share it. So I’m not doing it. They are still human beings, not photogenic food in the restaurant.

Embracing Emotional Range: How heritage and Viewpoint Fuel Performance

Many actors draw upon personal experiences to enrich their craft, and for some, cultural background plays a notable role. The intersection of emotional depth and pragmatic thinking can be a powerful asset in bringing characters to life.

The Balkan Influence: A Blend of Passion and Realism

Growing up with a father from Macedonia and the broader Balkan region often instills a particular mindset – one frequently described as possessing a “fire” mentality. This isn’t simply about volatility, but a potent combination of passionate expression and a grounded, often resilient, worldview.According to a 2023 study by the Pew Research Center, individuals with strong ties to Balkan cultures often prioritize family, community, and direct emotional interaction.

This duality – a capacity for intense feeling coupled with a practical approach – can be incredibly beneficial for an actor. It allows for a speedy and authentic access to a wide spectrum of emotions. Instead of needing to construct a feeling, it’s more about channeling and directing an already existing internal landscape. It’s akin to a musician with perfect pitch; the notes are already within reach, requiring only skillful execution.

Harnessing Emotional Intensity

The ability to readily access and express emotion is a cornerstone of compelling acting. For some, this requires extensive training and technique. However, for those with a naturally heightened emotional sensitivity, the challenge lies in control and focus. The key is learning to navigate the emotional spectrum, reaching the point of intensity without being overwhelmed by it.It’s about finding the “edge” – that point where emotion becomes palpable and ready to be channeled into a performance. Think of a pressure cooker; the heat builds, but a release valve prevents an explosion. similarly, an actor can utilize their emotional capacity without losing control, allowing the feeling to flow organically and authentically.

Collaboration and Overcoming Stage Fright

Even seasoned performers experience moments of self-doubt. Working alongside respected colleagues can be both inspiring and intimidating. The experience of collaborating on a theatrical production, particularly with someone considered an icon in the field, can be a significant learning opportunity. It’s common to feel apprehensive initially, but recognizing the value of the partnership and embracing the shared creative process can lead to both personal and professional growth.

The initial nervousness can be a catalyst for deeper connection and a more nuanced performance. It’s a reminder of the stakes involved and a motivator to bring one’s best to the table.

Balancing Work and Family Life

The demands of a career in the performing arts can be significant, frequently enough requiring long hours and intense focus. however, maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for overall well-being. Prioritizing time with loved ones, especially children, provides a grounding force and a reminder of what truly matters.Summer breaks, in particular, offer a valuable opportunity to reconnect with family and recharge before embarking on new projects. Whether it’s preparing for a new series or performing on stage, the support of family provides a vital foundation for success.
