Whether enjoying the stage program at the Bonn Festival,strolling over the Rheinau flea market or going to an underwater concert-this weekend there will be a wide range of offers in Bonn and the region. We give some tips, including the sports and cultural festival in the Reuterpark, the Grand Science Slam and an over and underwater concert in the Franconian pool.

This weekend, the Bonn Festival brings musical program, cuisine and exciting data stands to downtown Bonn. The festival will be opened on friday at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Katja Dörner and the board of the city marketing.Visitors on stage on the marketplace can listen to various bands such as “Loud but crooked”, “Sticky Fingers” or “Room Service” all weekend. Fans of electronic music are right at the Electronic Dance Music Festival on Münsterplatz. DJs from all over Germany appear there from Friday to Sunday. There is also something going on on the streets between the stages: Different themed worlds invite visitors to discover topics such as enjoyment, sustainability, leisure and mobility. The crowning glory of the festival is the conventional singing of “Ode to the joy” together with the Bonn choir “Swinging Rainbow” on Sunday at 6.30 p.m. on the market square.

Science Interaction and Open House Events

Young scientists present their latest research findings in a creative and engaging ten-minute lecture at the Bonn Opera. The audience then votes for the best presentation.

The House of Education celebrates its tenth anniversary with an open day under the theme “Reading. learn. Celebrate.” The event offers a diverse program for all ages, including consultation stations, short lectures, and tours.
