Despite not being a fan of Trump and having faced backlash in the past for displaying American political memorabilia, Muller acknowledges the Republican’s strong standing in the polls and predicts a close race. He cites the narrowing margins in key swing states and Trump’s momentum as factors leading to this prediction.

A History of US Politics Fixation

Muller’s fascination with American politics dates back to his childhood. He wasn’t particularly interested in domestic politics, stating, “I’m thoroughly enjoying my new life, and I’m still totally interested in politics, but US politics, as opposed to New Zealand politics.” He admitted he’s loving life outside parliament and has no regrets about leaving.
