Pforzheim-Enzkreis Celebrates newly Qualified Journeymen
Remchingen/Pforzheim/Enzkreis – A celebratory atmosphere filled the Remchingen Cultural Hall on Friday evening as nearly 250 newly qualified journeymen were officially recognized for their accomplishments. The event, attended by approximately 600 guests, marked the culmination of years of dedicated training and apprenticeship.
Frank Herrmann, master craftsman representing the Pforzheim-Enzkreis district craftsmen’s association, presided over the ceremony, formally elevating the young professionals to journeyman status. Of the 259 candidates who commenced the qualification process, an extraordinary 247 successfully completed it, demonstrating a high level of skill and commitment within the region’s skilled trades. Seven candidates were especially distinguished, achieving a “very good” grade in their final assessments.
The high success rate reflects the strength of vocational training programs and the dedication of both apprentices and their mentors within the Pforzheim-Enzkreis area. This annual celebration underscores the importance of skilled trades to the local economy and provides a vital platform for recognizing the next generation of craftspeople.
