Ukraine discusses its peace plan with international embassies, including Spain

The head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermakhas held a meeting with representatives of the international embassies in the country, including the Spanish one, to discuss two key points of its peace plan for Ukraine, known as the “Peace Formula” on the guarantees of territorial and energy security of facing a future

The meeting was attended by nearly 60 diplomatic representativesamong them for the first time from countries such as Ethiopia, Croatia and Portugal, which have also joined the intervention of institutional representatives such as the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Ukraine Denise Brown or the Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine Joseph Maramreddy.

Yermak, reports the Ukrainian Presidency this Saturday, took the opportunity to inform foreign diplomats about the results of the second meeting at the level of national security advisers and political directors of foreign policy departments of countries and international organizations, which took place on 5 August in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

This meeting, it should be remembered, was characterized by the presence of representatives of countries closest to Russia, such as China or Indiawho agreed on the need to find a negotiated solution that respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

Likewise, the countries participating in Jeddah agreed to create specific working groups on the most outstanding aspects of the ten-point proposal presented at the time by the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, to cease hostilities with Russia, excluded however from the summit.
