Record 45 States & 25 countries represented at Palm Beaches Marathon
Alaskan Adun Ige secured a record for the U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon with her registration,bringing the total number of U.S.states represented to 45. Organizers anticipate nearly 6,200 runners will participate when the race is held on December 14.
Ige, currently residing in Anchorage, is relocating to Melbourne, FL, and discovered the palm Beaches event through an app recommended by her coach.
Her story highlights the growing popularity of this South Florida running event. Runners from 25 countries will also join the competition, navigating the streets of downtown West Palm Beach across five different races on December 13-14.
