The suspect is a man of stocky build with a light-brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a light gray sweater and matching trousers and has noticeable facial scars.

The manhunt is focused on the area surrounding the Diakonessenhuis hospital and throughout Utrecht, with the suspect last reported heading towards Galgenwaard Stadium in the Lunetten neighborhood. Police are utilizing helicopters and numerous vehicles in the search.
