Concerns Raised Over Budget 2026

No government has allowed something like this before – an attack on bulgarian citizens.It’s a complete first that the Ministry of Finance hasn’t spoken up to defend people. This is what PP leader Asen Vassilev said during a press conference about the 2026 budget.

“Money is being taken from businesses and citizens, and this will bring in BGN 56.6 billion. The state will take BGN 600 from each company,” Vassilev explained. He further stated that this action isn’t just about the money; it’s about the principle of how the government treats its people and businesses. he questioned why the Ministry of Finance remains silent on this issue, suggesting a lack of defense for Bulgarian citizens.
