After the United States attack against an alleged embarrassment with drugs in the Caribbean, Freddy Ñáñez, Minister of Communication and information of Venezuela, said Tuesday on social networks that the video of the attack was carried out with artificial intelligence (AI) and that the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, “continues to lied to its president.”

“Enough Frame Blonde of encouraging war and trying to stain President Donald Trump’s blood,” Ñáñez added in Instagram and X.

However, the Venezuelan official used Gemini, Google’s AI, to try to check his sayings, something that is contraindicated when verifying information. “Gemini can provide imprecise or inappropriate information, even about people, so verify the answers,” Google states.

“Whoever Sides with Venezuela Sides with Everyone”: Maduro Intensifies Criticism of the US

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has accused sectors in Miami of influencing the White House and the US State Department with an “extremist” vision. He claims this has led to a “Miamization” of US foreign policy towards Latin America and the Caribbean.

In a recent statement, Maduro sharpened his rhetoric, asserting that “whoever sides with Venezuela, sides with everyone.” This suggests a broader challenge to US influence in the region and a positioning of Venezuela as a key player for engagement.

The accusations come amidst ongoing tensions between Venezuela and the United States, marked by sanctions and political disagreements. Maduro’s comments highlight his belief that hardline factions within the US are driving a detrimental policy agenda for the region.
