Online transmission: Viktória Kozloňová and Sofia Ungerová today at Cycling World Championship 2025 (U23, live start race)
Kigali. Slovaks Viktória Kozloňová and Sofia Ungerová will present themselves today in the category under 23 years in a mass start race at the Cycling world Championship 2025.
For the first time, the World Championship of the African continent, while in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, is waiting for the 119.3 km long -challenging route.
The medals and rainbow jersey will be fought on the local circuit, which is 15.1 km and cyclists will complete it eight times. The first will be a little shortened, as the sharp start will follow after 1500 meters.
The whole route is either uphill or downhill – practically without a flat section.
In particular, three climbs will be crucial: cote de Kigali Golf (0.8 km, 8.1 %), paved Cote de Kimihurura (1.3 km, 6.3 %) and the subsequent hill to the finish (0.7 km, 5.5 %).
Viktória Kozoleňová may also think of the top rungs, and Canadian Isabella Holmgrenová is considered the biggest favorite.
The teams of France and the UK also have strong lines. There are also a cold rival from the junior time – Célia Gery and Cat Ferguson.

Target:: After all, it will not be a double French stage. Marion Boyla worked for Gery, but she is fifth in the finish. The bronze medal enjoys 12 seconds of Spanish Paula Blasi.
Objective: Viktória Kozornová is again silver and the world champion in the race under 23 becomes Célia Gery. The young Slovak fought fiercely, but eventually was not enough for the winner of three stages from the recent Tour de l’avenir.
0.5 km: Definitely the final climb to the destination. The medal seems to be certain for slovakia, but it can also be gold. Viktória Kozloňová is struggling with Célia Gery, who is preferred in the French team in the fight for gold.
1 km: Viktória Kozornáová went through the climb together with the French and still has a chance to gain the rainbow jersey. The cobbled hill was pulled by his jewel, so Gery will probably sprint. But can cold -offs surprise them?
1.5 km: The French attack along with Kiloňová and there is a gap! This can be a moment that decides on medal positions. It was a Slovakian who responded to the teammate’s attack from Visma Marion Cray.
3 km: Huge drama in Kigali. The title of World Champion under 23 and other medalists will be
