Vogue Williams Recounts Embarrassing Ex’s Destructive Behavior
Podcaster and model Vogue Williams shared a story about a former boyfriend who reacted dramatically when he wasn’t the center of attention, smashing a speaker in a fit of frustration.
The 40-year-old Williams, now happily married to Spencer Matthews, recounted the incident on her podcast, Vogue & Amber, co-hosted with her sister Amber. She described how her “embarrassing ex” became upset when the conversation shifted away from him.
“I used to have a really embarrassing ex who did something like that to me, remember?” Williams said on the podcast. Amber responded, “I know which one you’re talking about, the speaker?”
Williams continued, “He did not like that the focus wasn’t on him, picked up the speaker and just smashed it on the ground. And we were like ‘what are you doing dude, go away.’ Just due to the fact that we don’t want to talk about you all the time, for f**** sake. Some people are just strange aren’t they?”
Prior to her marriage to Matthews, Williams was married to former Westlife member Brian McFadden. She has openly discussed her past relationships on her podcast.
Life with Spencer Matthews
Williams and Matthews met on the winter sports reality show The Jump in 2017 and subsequently married. They share three children: Theodore, seven, Gigi, five and Otto, three.
Recently, Spencer Matthews revealed that the family’s “forever” Irish home in Howth is not yet ready for full-time occupancy. While Williams expressed a desire to spend more time in Dublin, Matthews prefers to maintain their base in London due to career commitments.
“If I had to live there full-time at this stage in my life and career, I would feel like I’m missing out on the hustle and bustle of London,” Matthews explained to the Sunday Times. The couple currently spends approximately three weeks each summer, ten days over Christmas, and time during school breaks at their Irish home, which cost €2.8 million.
Williams, originally from Portmarnock, Ireland, expressed her desire for her children to connect with their Irish heritage. “It’s where I grew up; I want our kids to know it and their Irish roots too. Our new home in Howth is our relaxing space, and it is our forever home. The kids love it and have made their own friends, which is so cute,” she said.
