Zones of 12 provinces distributed by seven autonomous communities of the southern and eastern peninsulas, as well as Balearicsare this Thursday low warning for heavy rain and stormsintenseon a day with few temperature changes.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet)collected by Servimedia, indicates that the most significant will be the appearance of locally strong showers and storms in the northeast of Catalonia, the Levantine area, the Balearic Islands, eastern Iberia, the south of the Southern Plateau and the eastern interior of Andalusia.
There is an orange warning – significant risk with a certain degree of danger for usual activities – in Mallorca (south and Levante), Ibiza and Formentera due to very heavy rains of at least 40 liters per square meter in one hour.
The rest of the notices are from yellow level -risk- due to heavy rainfall in areas of Alicante, Badajoz, Barcelona, Castellón, Ciudad Real, Girona, Granada, Jaén, Tarragona, Teruel, Valencia and the islands of Mallorca and Menorca.
The Balearic Islands and the Levantine area will have clouds with showers and morning storms that can be locally strong. In the rest of the peninsula it will be slightly cloudy, with intervals of low clouds in the rest of the Mediterranean area and without ruling out some light rain in the Cantabrian. Abundant evolution cloudiness will also develop in the interior.
