Woman Dies Following Road Crash in Co Tyrone

Tragedy has struck Co Tyrone following a road crash earlier this month. Nora Hagan, a 68-year-old woman from the Cookstown area, sadly passed away in hospital after being involved in a collision on the Woodlough Road in Dungannon on Wednesday, October 16.

Collision Details

Shortly after 4 pm on October 16, police officers and emergency services responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a white Ford Transit van and a grey Audi A4. Nora Hagan, who was the passenger in the Audi, was taken to the hospital.

Victim and Other Injuries

PSNI Roads Inspector Cherith Adair confirmed the sad news of Ms. Hagan’s passing. “The female driver of the car and the male driver of the van were both taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries.” She stated that police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.

Appeal for Witnesses

Officers from the collision investigation unit are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could help their investigation to come forward. “Officers from the collision investigation unit are examining the circumstances of the collision, and would like to hear from witnesses, or anyone who may have captured dashcam or other footage, who may be able to assist with their inquiries,” said Inspector Adair.
