The G7 will initially launch with a rear-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 218 kW, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a respectable 6.5 seconds.Xpeng offers the G7 with two battery options: a 68.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and an 80.8 kWh LFP battery. These provide a CLTC-rated range of 602 km and 702 km respectively.Notably, the G7 boasts an notable energy consumption rate of just 10.8 kWh/100 km, potentially surpassing the efficiency of Tesla’s offerings. The Ultra version incorporates up to three “Turing” AI chips, culminating in a total computing power of 2250 TOPS – currently the highest among electric vehicles. The interior features a groundbreaking augmented reality (AR) display developed in collaboration with Huawei. This expansive 87-inch projection screen spans the entire front windshield, offering a unique and immersive experience. Control is primarily managed through a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, complemented by a dedicated 8-inch screen for rear passengers.
