XRP Price if It Reached Bitcoin's Market Capitalization

One single XRP would cost approximately 24.06 dollars if its market capitalization matched the total size of the Bitcoin network, according to market data published by CoinGecko on November 6, 2026.

The calculation illustrates the vast current gap between the two digital currencies by measuring their total market capitalization rather than their individual coin prices.

Bitcoin remains by far the largest cryptocurrency, while XRP holds a much lower total market value. A simple comparison of individual coin prices can be misleading because many more XRP coins exist than bitcoins. Market capitalization is calculated as the price of one coin multiplied by the number of coins in circulation according to the data source.

On the November 6, 2026 measurement date, CoinGecko data showed that the market value of Bitcoin reached approximately 1.528 trillion dollars, equivalent to one thousand billion dollars. At the same time, approximately 63.52 billion XRP were in circulation. Dividing the Bitcoin market value by the circulating XRP supply results in an outcome of approximately 24.06 dollars per XRP.

Compared to a sample price of roughly 1.20 dollars per XRP on the reference date, this hypothetical valuation sits around twenty times higher. This comparison highlights the current difference between the two markets rather than predicting that XRP will become twenty times more expensive. Both the market value of Bitcoin and the circulating supply of XRP can change in reality.

Calculations change when factoring in the maximum XRP supply of 100 billion coins instead of the circulating supply. Not all of those coins factor into the current circulating inventory in the same way, as a large portion of Ripple’s holdings remains in escrow. Ripple states on its website that it holds both available XRP and locked XRP.

Dividing the 1.528 trillion dollar market value across all 100 billion XRP yields a lower outcome of 15.28 dollars per XRP because the same total value is distributed across more coins. Smaller scenarios can also be calculated using the same method. At a quarter of Bitcoin’s market value using 63.52 billion XRP, the price comes out to approximately 6.02 dollars, while the halfway mark reaches approximately 12.03 dollars.

Reaching these valuations does not literally require XRP to attract an amount of money equal to Bitcoin’s current worth. Market capitalization functions as a mathematical calculation rather than a total sum deposited into a coin by investors. When exchange prices rise, the calculated market value of all coins increases automatically, including for coins that are not actively traded.

The exact amount of new capital required for a specific price depends on factors such as buy orders, selling willingness, liquidity, and the trading pace. These figures represent mathematical scenarios based on fixed starting points rather than guaranteed steps for XRP.
