2026 Zhongguancun Forum to Drive Technological and Industrial Integration

BEIJING – Registration for media access to the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum) opened on Wednesday, February 25th, with the event scheduled to capture place in Beijing from March 25 to 29. Xinhua News reports that registration for global media representatives will be accepted until March 13th through the official ZGC Forum website.

Forum Focus and Components

This year’s forum centers on the theme of “Full Integration Between Technological and Industrial Innovation.” The ZGC Forum will encompass five key components: forum conferences, achievement releases, technology trade fairs, frontier competitions, and supporting events.

Main events will include an opening ceremony and plenary session, parallel forums dedicated to specific technological areas, the release of significant research achievements, the ZGC International Technology Trade Fair, and the Grand Final of the Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Innovation Competition.

Established in 2007, the ZGC Forum has become a prominent international event dedicated to enhancing global innovation in science and technology. Its consistent theme of “Innovation and Development” has fostered a platform for collaboration between government, industry, academia, and research institutions worldwide.

The 2026 forum is jointly organized by key Chinese government agencies, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
