Mother of Petrohan Victim Accuses Father of Betrayal, Demands Full Investigation

The investigation into the deaths of three men near Petrohan Peak in Bulgaria has taken a new turn as Ralitsa Asenova, the mother of Nikolay Zlatkov, publicly accused her estranged husband of taking her son’s body without her consent and hindering the pursuit of truth surrounding his death. The bodies of Zlatkov, Ivaylo Kalushev, and a 15-year-vintage boy were discovered earlier this month near Okolchitsa Peak, sparking a complex investigation and widespread speculation.

Dispute Over Body and Funeral Arrangements

Asenova claims her ex-husband acted against her wishes when he took possession of Nikolay’s body. She stated she repeatedly asked him not to collect the body and to support her in demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances of his death. “The actions taken today by Nicky’s father regarding our son’s body were done completely against my will and without my consent!!!” Asenova wrote in a social media post.

Previous Findings and Public Reaction
