Elachem Vigevano Fans Shower Court with Over 1,200 Plush Toys for Charity
Vigevano, Italy – March 22, 2026 – The Elachem Vigevano basketball team witnessed a heartwarming display of generosity from its fans during their game against Capo d’Orlando today. Over 1,900 spectators at the PalaElachem arena participated in the “Teddy Bear Toss,” launching more than 1,200 plush toys onto the court after the first field goal scored by Nemanja Gajic.
The toys, collected in 23 bags, will be delivered to various local organizations and facilities, including the pediatric department of the Vigevano hospital, the Child Neuropsychiatry unit at the Mondino in Pavia, the “Selene” community for minors in Lomello, the “Mama Yovo” association of Vigevano, and nursery schools in Lomello. The Madre Amabile Foundation, a community for children in Lomello with its “Saltinmente” center, will also receive a donation.
The event also saw the presence of Avis Vigevano, providing information about blood donation and raising awareness for their cause.
