Table of Contents
For the third time in ESC history, Vienna is the venue for the ESC. In 2026, the Vienna Stadthalle houses the three shows as in 2015.The final will take place on May 16.
Marcel Stober and Thomas Mohr were both on site at the time and remember the ESC in Vienna – and what the ESC feeling in the city made under the motto “Building Bridges”. The current motto “United by Music” has remained – but something else has changed, much to the horror of many ESC fans. The iconic ESC logo has been changed. The ESC has been decorating since 2015, and from 2026 a fresher, newer logo should represent the ESC brand.
Fanclub EC Germany celebrates his birthday
There are two ESC fan clubs in Germany. The older OGAE and the later founded Eurovision Club (EC) Germany. The EC Germany has now celebrated the 25th birthday. In addition to former ESC acts such as Lou from Germany or Pasha Parfeni from Moldau, our podcast hosts were also guests at the gala in Hamburg. On the one hand, they talk about the birthday party – but also with a young fan club member about the advantages of and prejudices about ESC fan clubs.
