Tuesday evening, at the Roland-Garros stadium, the French Tennis Federation vibrated to the rhythm of the Esprit Bleu. An evening dedicated to sharing, emotion and the future. A project born from a common ambition: highlighting the French tennis and para tennis teams and strengthening their place at the heart of our federation.

Alizé Cornet, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Richard Gasquet, Lois Boisson, Benjamin Bonzi, Clara Burel, Cédric Pioline, Arnaud Clément, Nicolas Mahut and many others. Many of them responded to the call from “L’Esprit Bleu” this Tuesday, Porte d’Auteuil. If they could not be present, Yannick Noah and the French wheelchair tennis team, in training in Cameroon, as well as Kristina mladenovic, Corentin Moutet or even Arthur Rinderknech also shared their support by video.

As recalled, in the preamble to this evening, Gilles Moretton, president of the FFT: “L’Esprit Bleu is much more than a slogan. It is indeed an identity deeply rooted in the FFT, an energy that brings together and inspires.”

In recent years, team competitions have sometimes lost visibility, but our players have always been there to defend the colors of France, also added Didier Retière, National Technical Director. Today, we want to amplify this movement and unite the entire tennis family around our national teams, in tennis and para tennis.

A sacred union behind our teams

This new energy in the service of performance is structured around three pillars:

* Proximity: Creating closer links between the players and the FFT,and with the public.
* Transmission: Leveraging the experience of former players to support the current generation.
* Unity: Strengthening the bond between tennis and para tennis, celebrating all forms of the sport.
